Being "strengthened with might by the Holy Ghost" means being gloriously strengthened according to God's riches in your inner man, not just physically. This is a process that is described as an inner strengthening of the spirit.
The transfiguration of Jesus on the mount is used as an example. It is described as an instance where the glory from within radiated outward, causing his countenance and clothes to shine.
Praying in tongues with your lips is described as simply speaking the utterance without engaging your spirit. Conversely, praying in tongues with your spirit involves giving attention to and allowing your spirit to be stirred by the prayer.
The first key element to praying in tongues effectively is being reverent. This means approaching the practice with a sense of respect and awe.
The speaker suggests that frequently praying in tongues leads to health. He states that through this practice, the Holy Ghost "parambulates" the body, thus promoting well-being.
The speaker describes faith as being "rooted" like a plant and "grounded" like a building, emphasizing both the deep connection and solid foundation of faith. He uses the terms rooted and grounded in love to demonstrate that faith has a strong foundation in one's heart.
The concept of the gospel becoming "according to you" refers to when the deep understanding of the message makes it personal and experiential. This transformation causes one to not only understand but also truly live the gospel.
Reverence is essential because it ensures that the act of praying in tongues is not just lip service but a deeply spiritual practice. It is suggested that reverence is an important step to take in order to have a positive and authentic experience.
The speaker describes the surge of power as a current from the spirit through the body that is almost immediate. This experience is a direct result of one being reverent and actively engaging the spirit.
For Christ to "dwell in your hearts by faith" means for Christ to settle and become an established part of one's inner being through belief and trust. This settling-in occurs as a result of faith.

One thing is needul answers
Despite being a great and honorable man, Naaman was a leper. This made him repulsive and isolated, highlighting that even with great achievements, a person could have a fundamental flaw that made him need healing.
The little maid suggested that Naaman seek the prophet Elijah in Samaria to be healed of his leprosy. This was significant because it shows that even the most insignificant person can have an important role in pointing others to the word of God.
God commanded Saul to utterly destroy the Amalekites and all that they possessed, including men, women, children, and animals. This was intended as a complete eradication of a sinful and defiant people.
Instead of destroying everything, Saul spared Agag, the king of the Amalekites, and kept the best of the livestock. He only destroyed what was considered undesirable.
God meant that Saul had begun to act independently, choosing which commandments to obey, thus establishing his own authority. Pastor Chris relates this to leadership, stating that leaders who are unfaithful and cannot be trusted should not be in a position of leadership.
Saul defended himself and blamed others for his disobedience, showing no true repentance, while David acknowledged his sin and took responsibility for it. David sought God's forgiveness and was concerned for the people being punished for his actions.
David’s sin was numbering the people of Israel. Afterwards, he confessed his actions as foolish and begged God to take the punishment upon himself and his family.
Pastor Chris notes that Martha was distracted and overly worried about serving, focusing on the unimportant details and neglecting to listen to the teachings of Jesus.
Martha’s accusations and skepticism towards Jesus, such as blaming Him for not arriving earlier, reveals her perception of him as a mere miracle worker and not as the Son of God. She also does not truly believe that he is able to raise her brother from the dead.
The main point is to acknowledge the areas that are needful in one’s own life, correct any disobedience or unfaithfulness to the word of God, and grow spiritually. Pastor Chris encourages listeners to seek humility, faithfulness, and a deeper relationship with God.
The origin of demons

Religious prayer is performed out of obligation, while the prayer that Jesus taught is a form of communication with God that produces results. Jesus's prayers were effective because they seemed to communicate directly with a God who was listening and responding.
Caleb and Joshua had a different spirit, the spirit of faith, which allowed them to see the land of Canaan as something they could conquer with God's help rather than an insurmountable obstacle. They trusted in God's promise rather than being intimidated by the giants.
Israel's God was invisible and without idols, yet He provided victory and messages through His prophets. Other nations had many gods that were often represented by idols, but they could not defeat Israel when they remained faithful to their God.
In the Old Testament, “sons of God” refers to angels, while the term “children of Israel” refers to the descendants of Jacob, God's chosen people. Angels were given oversight of nations, but the nation of Israel was assigned directly to God.
Fallen angels had sexual relations with women of other nations and produced giants, according to the text. When these giants died, their spirits became demons, who sought to enter bodies because they have no bodies of their own.
Demons are described as “naked spirits” because they do not possess spiritual bodies of their own, and they are the offspring of fallen angels. They seek to enter into something, like people or animals, because they have no place to inhabit.
Jesus demonstrated power over evil spirits by casting them out with authority, something that none of the prophets in the Old Testament were recorded as doing. His words and actions showed that he had a power and authority over demons that no one had previously possessed.
Nations became ungodly after their faith waned and they moved away from the Holy Spirit of God and toward religion. This created a spiritual emptiness that allowed the demons that had been driven out to return, making their condition worse than before.
When a demon returns to a house that is "empty, swept, and garnished" it means that the initial demon has been removed, but there is no Holy Spirit present, leaving the space open for that demon and others to return. While the space is ordered, it is spiritually vacant.
The real culprit behind the war against free speech is not individual politicians, but major corporations, particularly those who are doing bad things in the world and want to avoid scrutiny, according to the text. These companies have been secretly undermining those that go against them.
The Heavenly Kingdom of Jesus Christ

One of the charges against Jesus was that he declared himself to be a king. This claim challenged the authority of the existing earthly rulers, leading to accusations of sedition and ultimately his condemnation.
When Jesus said, "My kingdom is not of this world," he meant that his kingdom is not a political or geographical entity like earthly kingdoms but rather a spiritual reality that is foreign to the material world. His kingdom is not subject to earthly boundaries or powers.
Jesus' mission was to extend the influence and power of his kingdom to this world, bringing the blessings and goodness of his kingdom to humanity. He aimed to transform the world through salvation, delivering people from sin, and restoring them to a right relationship with God.
The three key components of salvation are deliverance, making whole or complete, and preservation. Deliverance is being freed from sin and darkness; being made whole or complete refers to being restored to God's perfect will; and preservation is God's protection and maintenance of one's completeness in Him.
To believe that Jesus is the Christ means to believe that he is the God-man, God in human flesh, the Son of God. This implies acknowledging his divinity and his unique role as the Messiah who came to redeem humanity.
The first key aspect of salvation discussed in the text is deliverance from sin, also known as remission of sin. This means the removal and blotting out of sin, freeing individuals from its power and consequences.
Besides deliverance from sin, another key aspect of salvation is being delivered from the jurisdiction of darkness, meaning freedom from the dominion of Satan and the powers of evil. Believers are transferred from the domain of darkness into the kingdom of God's Son.
Reconciliation with God means being brought into oneness and peace with Him, ending the state of separation caused by sin. It is achieved through Jesus Christ, who bridges the gap between humanity and God, leading to a relationship of peace and harmony.
According to the text, in salvation, one's human life,
which is marred by sin and darkness, is replaced with the life of God, the divine nature. This results in a transformation, where the believer receives the eternal life of Jesus Christ.
The gift of God described at the end of the text is eternal life, a life characterized by love and righteousness. This gift is received freely by believing in Jesus Christ and confessing him as Lord, signifying an acceptance of his saving work.
Benny Hinn preaching Healing Services October 2

Receiving the word is important because, according to Hinn, it produces in you what it talks about and where God's power comes. He also suggests it is an important message for life.
Hebrews was written to encourage early Jewish believers who were facing persecution and were tempted to revert to Judaism to regain lost privileges. The book emphasizes that Jesus is superior to the old system.
1. God's revelation of himself is progressive. In the Old Testament, God spoke through prophets, but in the New Testament, he speaks through his son, Jesus, who is considered the complete and final word of God.
1. Pastor Hinn, describes Jesus as the one word needed by God to perfectly communicate the depth, mystery, passion, and overwhelming grace of who he is. He is the complete communication of God.
The early church faced heresies questioning both Jesus' divinity (that he is not the Son of God) and his humanity (that he did not come in the flesh). The Gospel of John emphasizes his divinity, and the Epistles of John counter the heresy denying his humanity.
Being the "heir of all things" means everything in heaven and on earth belongs to Jesus. He is the inheritor of all that belongs to God the Father.
This means that Jesus is the exact representation of God's person, like an image on a coin. Exposure to Jesus is exposure to the character and nature of God.
The "cosmic glue" is Jesus. According to Hinn, He is the force that keeps the world and everything in it together. He holds all things by the word of his power.
Purging our sins means that Jesus canceled the power of human sins and their effects. He did so by offering himself as a sacrifice to pay our debt as both High Priest and sacrifice.
The five attributes of God Hinn discusses are that God is omnipotent (all-powerful), omniscient (all-knowing), omnipresent (everywhere), eternal (no beginning or end), and unchangeable.
Spiritual culture part 1: 3 kinds of speech

"Logos" is the general term for "word" encompassing the substance of the message, including speech, idea, thought, and overall message. It's the comprehensive word of God, with Jesus Christ being God's logos.
"Logos" is the general word of God, while "rhema" is the specific word of God for a particular situation, relevant and personal for immediate use. "Rhema" is an utterance with a definite purpose.
“Rhema” is the word of faith because it is personal, relevant, and a timely word spoken by an individual prompted by the Spirit and used to accomplish a specific purpose.
Praying in the spirit is crucial to receive the "rhema" because it allows one to be synchronized with God's Spirit to discern the relevant word needed for a particular moment.
Moses initially speaking God’s word did not change Pharaoh’s heart. When Moses finally spoke the Rhema word to release the Israelite people from bondage, change was effected.
"Lalia" is a mode of speech encompassing the way something is said, including pronunciation, dialect, and gesticulations, it is the method of communication rather than the message itself.
The Gileadites used the pronunciation of "shibolet" to identify the Ephraimites, demonstrating how dialect can reveal one's origin and expose falsehood
.
Peter's Galilean dialect "betrayed" him, revealing that he was a follower of Jesus, the Galilean, and his denial was a lie, demonstrating that one’s “lalia” reveals their origin and affiliations.
One's inability to understand another's "lalia" is linked to an inability to grasp their message (logos), highlighting that the way something is communicated impacts how well the message is received.
God’s word cultures believers into a unique kingdom, creating a distinct culture and language which shapes their behavior and identity.
Spiritual culture part 2

Being "baptized into the body of Christ" signifies being brought into the church and cultured in the things of God. It marks the beginning of spiritual growth where believers are trained, taught, and developed through the ministry of the word and the Holy Spirit.
To be "transformed by the renewing of your mind" means to change your thoughts by replacing old ways of thinking with the new thoughts of God. This process is essential for spiritual growth and allows believers to align with God's will.
Praying "through Jesus Christ" is a general form of prayer, whereas praying "in the name of Jesus" implies using the authority given through His name. This involves making declarations and demands, understanding that believers have authority over their circumstances.
Being "spiritual" refers to understanding and living according to God’s will and spiritual principles. In contrast, being "carnal" indicates a focus on worldly matters, lacking understanding of spiritual concepts and following human reasoning.
A "babe in Christ," described by the Greek word nepos, is someone who is new to the faith and does not yet understand or speak the language of the kingdom. They need to be nurtured and taught spiritual concepts in order to grow.
To be a "child" in understanding (nepios) refers to a lack of spiritual insight, while acting as a child in malice (paidion) means to be innocent and inexperienced in bad things. Believers should not be knowledgeable about wickedness but should grow in their spiritual understanding.
"Milk" represents the basic teachings of faith that are suitable for spiritual "babes," whereas "meat" symbolizes the deeper, more complex truths that can be understood by mature believers. It implies a progression in spiritual growth and understanding.
Speaking "in the words which the Holy Ghost teacheth" means communicating using God's wisdom, not human wisdom. It is about using spiritual language based on God's truth rather than earthly, worldly concepts.
Being "marvelously helped" refers to the assistance and power believers receive through the Holy Spirit. It means that God empowers and strengthens them, enabling them to live victoriously and fulfill their potential.
The ultimate goal is to grow "to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ," becoming mature in faith and developing into the person God intended. This process involves continual growth in understanding and alignment with Christ’s teachings.
Righteousness and spiritual understanding of scriptures

A "natural man" is someone who is not born again and can only perceive the world through their physical senses, making spiritual truths seem foolish. A "spiritual man," on the other hand, has received the Holy Spirit and can understand spiritual truths because they are spiritually discerned.
The text argues that Christianity is not just a religion because being a Christian goes beyond practicing religious rituals, like prayer or attending church. It is about being born again and having a personal relationship with Christ.
Moses viewed the Law as life and as a testament to the righteousness of God, while the people saw it simply as a list of rules and instructions to be obeyed. Moses was inspired by the beauty of the law and saw it as beautiful.
The "righteousness of the law" is fulfilled in us when we live not according to our fleshly desires, but according to the Holy Spirit. This indicates our internal transformation and alignment with God’s righteousness.
Righteousness is defined as the very nature of God—perfect, infallible, just, and good. It is demonstrated through God’s words and acts of love, and sin is any act or thought that goes against his revealed nature.
The text states that right and wrong are judged by God’s very nature, not by societal norms, which are constantly changing. Society’s view can be swayed by politics and other worldly forces.
"The express image of the father" means the perfect representation of God's character, will, and nature. Jesus is presented as the embodiment of this perfect image.
The prayer in Ephesians 3:14-21 reveals that God wills for believers to be strengthened inwardly by the Spirit, to have Christ dwell in their hearts, and to comprehend the full breadth of God’s love. This leads to being filled with the fullness of God.
The pastor suggests being reverent and yielding to the Holy Spirit. By focusing on the currents of power that come from the spirit, believers can experience a deeper, more meaningful connection to God when speaking in tongues.
The "church age" is described as "the age of the ages" because it is the foundation of all ages going forward, and the church is founded by Christ. It is seen as the beginning of an endless era of increase for believers.
